An agreement has been signed for the construction of a large logistics hub on the border with China
As part of the Eastern Economic Forum, at the "Far Eastern Lounge" booth, IFР-1 signed a cooperation agreement with the JSC "Far East and Arctic Development Corporation". The document outlines the joint implementation of two large-scale investment projects at the international border crossing between Nizhnelenninskoye (Jewish Autonomous Region, Russia) and Tunjiang (Heilongjiang Province, China).
The projects include the construction of a universal transshipment terminal with a capacity of up to 80,000 forty-foot containers and up to 500,000 tons of other cargo per year, as well as a railway transshipment complex — an agro-logistics terminal aimed at the export of agricultural products.
The total investment in the projects will amount to 22.05 billion rubles, and the creation of 323 new jobs is planned.
