The delegation of IFR 1 LLC participated in the 10th Russia–China EXPO
The delegation of IFR‑1 LLC took part in the 10th Russia—China EXPO, which was held from 17 to 21 May 2026 as part of the Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair. The event brought together companies from 46 countries and regions, including approximately 300 Russian enterprises. Within the framework of the forum, important meetings with investors and negotiations on cooperation IFR‑1 LLC with regions of China, large Chinese companies took place.
Representatives of IFR‑1 participated in the Intergovernmental Commission for the Development of the Russian Far East and Northeast China, chaired by Yu. P. Trutnev, which was held on 16 May 2026 in Harbin.
According to the report by A. O. Chekunkov, Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Chinese side was proposed to sign a coordination agreement on cargo transshipment via the Nizhneleninskoye—Tongjiang railway checkpoint, with the target volume reaching 22.4 million tonnes by 2031.
Following the meeting with Zheng Huadong, General Director of the Hazardous Cargo Corporation (a state‑owned company), with the participation of Wang Rui, Deputy Mayor of Tongjiang, the Tongjiang Hazardous Cargo Corporation informed about its plans to open terminals in China to organise the transportation of hazardous cargo via the Nizhneleninskoye railway checkpoint.
During the meeting with the Tongjiang City Government, represented by Mr. Zhang Dawei, Secretary of the City Committee of the Communist Party, important agreements were reached: a document was signed on the construction of infrastructure in China for the reception of exported food cargo (including frozen goods) from Russia, with operations scheduled to commence in 2027; the range of transported cargo was expanded (including petroleum coke, vegetable oil in tank containers, oil in tank cars, and coal in innovative gondola cars); and a Russia—China working group was established to develop the area adjacent to the Nizhneleninskoye—Tongjiang railway checkpoint.
